HEY Sculpin;
Two very good posts-- namely Continental and Atacana Pacific as comparators to our Tesoro claim. Sure is obvious why you are a hub leader,---always digging, exploring, and unselfishly supplying us novices with info to keep us grounded as well as exuberant about our investment. Thank you,--again--- I am sure--from most of us.
I noticed when I read the first post on Continental, that they had fairly decent grams per tonne, but realised that they did not even come close to the hi grade vein that produced us the 19 ounces ( OVER 500 GRAMS)-- 43101 compliant, that we have on Tesoro. I could not help thinking to myself ---we've got em beat by a country mile at Tesoro.
However, they do have a drill program completed to prove how much, and I guess thats what we are trying to establish with our trench and drill program. So I'm sure that if theirs is a good or high grade find that is obviously mineable, we should be okay if our trenching program proves to be close to 1 gram per tonne.
THEN--- I went to your next post on Atacama Pacific---and found the highest grade they had was 1.34 grams per tonne and said to myself ----HOW CAN THEY EVEN MAKE THAT PAY. But when you do the numbers with the volume of paydirt they have and come up with 3 to 5 million ounces total gold---you realize very quickly that it is still a feasible mine.
WOW--with close to half as many shares as we have and a TSX share value of $4 dollars-- guess where our SP is going when somebody figures out what we've got.
We seem to talk in ounces per tonne more often than other exploration companies. As a matter of fact, we are 43-101 compliant on just under 1 oz per tonne on our shaft bulk sample program. It used to make me sad when I saw numbers like 15 grams per tonne. NOT ANYMORE.!!
When I see numbers like .3 grams per tonne, and .24 grams per tonne, followed up with 3-5 million ounces total--- I for one, stop and realize how important the trench and drill program is, as well as how important it is to "DO IT RIGHT''--- EVEN IF IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE LONGER THAN WE EXPECTED.
Its been said many many times on this hub, and I'm going to say it again, Patience is a virtue that will pay multiple dividends for those who have stomach to exercise it.
Don't forget to Buy more shares in your TFSA account tomorrow. If you do not have the extra cash to purchase more----you can transfer then across from your cash account to your TFSA account with help from your broker.
best of luck and quack quack
