From what I have heard from some family members working in some Africa, China actually has quite a good reputation. I don't know first hand about their reputation in South America. As for Canadian Companies, do they really have the worst reputation or is this just something you heard on CBC? Keep in mind that Canadian small cap miners are all over the world - the more companies a country has out there, the greater the odds for a dispute.
