Well....I have been reading all the posts this morning. Quite heated I might add.

As a new investor I found out about SLI originally from a trusted friend.....he suggested I throw a few bucks in.....he knows me very well....knew I would go digging and he was not surprised when I sold many of my other stocks off to buy a few more bucks worth.

I have read this forum religiously since I found it....shortly after investing. I value the hard work and the DD that the hub leaders here provide. I have been caught up in the enthusiasm.....and gotten equally nervous about my decision after reading various negative posts..........

Observation #1..........the negative links and comments are usually posted my 'mailroom people' like myself.....so are they established investors....perhaps....perhaps not..........

Observation #2.......they are not consistent in their participation.........Most people who are just expressing an alternative point of view have a little of both perspectives included in their observation.....

Observation #3........one should look at both sides of the coin......if you are perpetually negative.......well hmmm.......of course positive attitude and enthusiasm are prevalent....we are invested!!

Why do I continue to focus on the positive......

1. If I did not feel comfortable with my decision I would sell and move on to something else....at the end of the day....I did not invest to support any 'Cause'.........I invested to make money

2. I have read and researched everything I can find out about this investment...I feel strongly as many do that SLI is going to the big times............of course the lingering question is HOW big........who knows.......if you don't think it is going to be BIG ENOUGH you shouldn't be invested.

3. What is there to be gained by focusing on the negative.....a realistic understanding of the risks....yes.....but that should become apparent to one in the course of their own DD....are there safer places to have your money....absolutely....will they net you a tidy safe return........ABSOLUTELY.........we are here........because we are risk takers.........gamblers......looking for bigger bang for the buck......

4. IF....there were a negative NR regarding SLI(ie. political issues in Peru)............of course we should all be aware of it.....we should ALL be doing our own work also....it is NOT the responsibility of any one person here to find and post that information............Thank you to all that do take the time to post articles and links....no one person would be able to find all the information that is found here as a group. If something happens that could affect the health of SLI positively.......or negatively.....there is a right to post it.........facts....supported by documents...it is each persons right to question the motive and authenticity of any post......if it is just to create doubt.......well those that doubt ......will bow out.........those that don't........will be here next week....month....

Just the observations of someone not emotionally invested in either perspective......looking from the outside ...IN.
