I agree. My vote is for the "HAVE" as well based on simple statistical analysis. Consider the various "breaches" that would have to exist in order for the scenario to result in a "have not" reality after all is said and done.
Breach #1: First off the results would have to oppose all of the information on the Tesoro that we know that suggests that there is something there. In other words, the results would have to show that the Quantec results were a fluke (even though the anomaly and drill targets just happen to lie and corrrelate very well with the corridor). In addition, without significant dissemination, the extremely rich veins would have to remain isolated free of any associated dissemination even though nature tends not to operate that way, especially when so many faults and crushed rock exist beneath the surface.
(Side note: Even though we say that the drill targets are "scattered" over the property in actuality they have a strong, definite parallel correlation to the vein corridor. Nobody can argue this when you simply look at the entire property. Furthermore, when one looks at the large anomaly it just so happens to lie where one would expect it to lie - right smack in an area where there are veins running to the surface in a large, massive circular like layout on the property that tends to "frame" the anomaly at the surface to a significant degree.
Breach #2: To me it wouldn't make any sense to waste their time "pin cushioning the anomaly" if they struck out with the initial 10K meter program? As sculpin mentioned already one wouldn't need a second shallow drill to do what the other shallow drill can do if the results are mediocre. SEND THE SECOND RIG TO VILCORO instead. Also, as mentioned already, Lori does not have a history of drilling out of desperation based on the historical info brought up on the property in Portugal. If anything I almost get the sense that she has a "newfound urgency" to drill up as much as she can within a short period of time, almost as if to suggest that "time is now of the essence". I have my notions of just what that reason might be, but I do not wish to digress.
Breach #3: Would Lori have gone to New York City and Murry to China to promote their company in order to find as many "suckers" as they could if they were to have known that the results were bad????? Of course not. And if so couldn't that result in some lawsuits down the road? In the least wouldn't that destroy their reputations not before long? Knowing how conscientious she is by bringing up Martha Stewart so many times at the AGM don't the naysayers ever stop to think that THIS DOES NOT FIT THE BIG PICTURE HERE. One might argue that she may not have a clue of any results thus far, but with them being blacked out and needing to have some info in order to run a successful drill program I'm just not buying the "negative mindset" being blown around on these boards for one second that they must not have hit anything.
Breach #4: Somehow, on top of everything else, Lori and Murry would also have to have the best acting skills (being confident and excited in spite of poor results underneath their feet). I don't see that as likely, for I don't believe they live anywhere near Hollywood.
So what are the odds that all four breaches ultimately become proven realities at the end of the day? Bottom line: I wouldn't want to be place my chips on those miniscule odds. Not saying it can't happen, and not saying that it never has happened, but raw statistics alone tell me that the far higher likelihood is for the HAVE side of the equation.
FWIW, just some food for thought.
