I was just able to speak with Jeff for a few minutes which were fantastic. He is very positive and very upbeat especially with the meetings in NY this week. Apparently the Fox news interview as seen by us was just the tip of the iceberg. The interview before and/or after the show has resulted in an open invitation to return at a later date. I hope the next interview will be to publicize the Tesoro property! I was not impressed with the last interview primarily because it had next to nothing to do with SLI.

I have a tiny exploration update to report. Jeff indicated to me that trenching is still ongoing as is drilling. Unfortunately the deep drill rigs from Bradley Bros. are still not on site but they have been promised by years end. I am not sure how much weight a promise holds because Bradley Bros., as experienced as they are, can not predict any complications with their current drilling.

By the simple fact that trenching is still ongoing I am very encouraged as to what they found. This tiny 2 months program has turned into an 8 month program which remains ongoing. SLI definitely found something because you do not waste that much time and resources if your results are not good and you have another highly prospective property sitting on the sidelines doing nothing.

Jeff indicated that there is a tremendous amount of work going on behind the scenes which have not been reported on yet. He is very confident and feels that shareholders will be happy when we do get news.

I have also cleared up the crap that has been slung around the boards with respect to the commencement of drilling. Jeff told me that when they announced the drilling the drill rig had just been mobilized and drilling actually started a week or two after that date. So drilling started in late August as per the news flow.

I also asked about the assays from Q1 and Jeff told me that those assays had nothing to do with the current drill program and nothing to do with the current trenching program. We know that there were samples on the Tesoro site from over a year ago. I suspect those are the ones that got sent for assay (its all that’s left!).

I hope that this update clears the air of all speculation because it confirms that the SLI news flow has been accurate. There is no room for speculation with respect to news flow. SLI is required to report news accurately and promptly. I hope that we do not see anymore wild speculation that indicated otherwise.

We have 10 days of tax loss selling left. In my opinion we should sit tight and wait for results. Trenching and drilling results are coming into the office, we will get news eventually!! Good luck friends."
