In my previous post I mentioned I didn,t hear of IAMGOLD making any aquisitions, but apparently they have invested directly into 3 juniors in Columbia. Nothing for Peru yet, but I forget how much cash they allocated for M&A.

My initial post on this thread was meant to show that if some M&A activity starts right beside one or more of our properties, it may force an interested major to have a better look at us.If KGHM, for example were to come in after Candente, it would most likely force the area majors to look at the little guys nearby or risk losing them to a competitor.

I think this may be worth keeping an eye on.
