Sculp, the last time I updated my timeline, I had offers/negotiations forecast for late-Q2, 2012. I'm not going to update my timeline again until the first assays are released.
Generally I'm sticking to my guns: IMO we won't get any offers until the McIlhanney model has all the trenching and assay inputs....as per mgmt's plan. Depending on the results, we will either have to keep drilling.....or......if the results are as good as we are hoping for, 10,000m may be plenty. I don't rule out the possibility of an early offer if the results are good. Someone posted several weeks (months?) ago that Arequipa was sold after around 9 holes, if I remember correctly. So early offers are entirely possible. But I will stay conservative with my schedule for now, just like BOW stays conservative with his numbers!
All the while I have this nagging feeling that this could drag out for another couple of years, and I only say that based on the way everything has transpired so far. The permit took too long, the assay results seem to take longer than we sometimes think they should, and therefore I believe this pattern will continue through the next stages of drilling and eventually the negotiation stage. Everything takes way more time than we want it to.
All that said....sure hope I'm dead wrong!
