you assume everything goes amicably here. If we find tons gold "in them there hills" we could have some serious threats going on and by that I mean a hostile takeover attempt. A player could easily start accumulating cheap shares at any time. At these prices a player can pick up 10% of the company for a measley $24MM. Sure the price will start to rise but I doubt it would surpass $10 before the player hits the 10% number and needs to declare, so say for even $80MM he sits at 10%. I have not heard if SLI has a poison pill and if not I am quite surprised Lori would not have put this in place....

Only good part about that scenario is that the media would pick it up and any other interested parties would step up the the plate, thereby creating a bidding war.

Bad part is that at that point they only need 41% more for control and the tender offers could be be far less than actual value, especially if we only have results from 6 holes and some trenching out there.
