Maybe I should better explain myself.

To get the best full target of the anomaly, it may not be possible from an existing shallow hole. The targets are irregular in shape and if a hole is not properly positioned, much of it could be wasted. If you are targeting a shallower target, your dip may be different than if you are targeting a deeper target. Where the anomaly is so huge, it may not be a problem to use an existing drill hole, but when I look at what could be gained from a complete hole, I would beg to differ.

I guess I shouldn,t have said "lost", what I meant was, so much more could be gained by having new holes. So, in fact, you would have an extra 1500m of information that you wouldn,t have had, if you used the existing shallow holes.
