Welcome to the board, fly.
Checkout the link library, pink tab, to the top left of this post. There is plenty of info in there about the properties and things about investing.
If you are an investor with a long time horizon, you should be ok. I had expected things to happen much sooner than this, but it hasn,t, so maybe you are right on time, investing now. The anticipated drill/trenching assays will verify that for you.
A paid analyst almost 2 years ago did a quick estimate on the veins and said, over 2 million ounces. Since then, we have had extensive geophysics done that may suggest we have way more than that. By our math here, and trying to be real conservative, its possible we may have 70 million ounces or more in the one big anomaly. This is not certain, but with everything we have to work with in lines of historic sampling and workings and geology, the chances look good. Thats only the largest anomaly, there are approx 20 more lesser ones.
For travel plans and resignation, don,t think about that until you have the money in your hand. It could take years, months or days, to get a good return on your investment. It depends on how things unfold in the near future with the first assays, and if the assays are big enough to prompt a major to make an offer. SLI tries to sell properties when proven up enough, so that means an offer could come quicker to SLI rather than a junior that explores and proves up something to mine theirselves.
