What IF

Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
A month and a half or so ago I offered the thought that there would be no NR and that perhaps they were holding on to that until the AGM. That thought got shot down.....but apparently it was only winged and has been running on the ground like a Pheasant.
Now here's my next scenario. One day along comes the information that the current board of directors have begun a new company to be called Intigold and that they have acquired the rights to prove up the Vilcoro or Cueva Blanca or both. Why we all ask. Because they the SLI directors don't have the time to spend on it. But their time is already being used up on SLI we say how does that make a difference? No one has any form of a clear cut answer as to why this has transpired. Then out of the blue comes the NR that SLI has created a new entity to be called Havila and all shareholders will receive their piece of the pie for that but it has been/will be cut free from SLI.....the current board of directors will be the same for both companies. So now we have three companies all with the same board of directors.
What IF........SLI has shown more than enough to be a very lucrative attraction for a major like perhaps Barricks right now? What IF there's a deal for a merger being tossed around with SLI and that SLI does indeed merge with a major for say a one time cash dividend and shares? We're all pretty certain the SP is being and has been controlled and wondering whether something like this could be going on. The board of directors would cash in big time and then move over to sit at their other board of directors tables for which they now have more time. We all get what will presumably be a nice payday but perhaps not all that has and is being imagined but handsome nonetheless, the board uses their hard earned windfall to prove up the now former SLI properties in Peru under the banner of Intigold and gain 100% of them as the major was only ever really interested in the Tesoro and then they sell that off which would be profitable for Intigold but probably most doubtful that new shareholders of the major would see much if any profit from that (whatever royalties came from it would probably give their new major shares a small lift).....but if they had taken some of their newly found money and invested in Intigold they'd be smiling perhaps.....and Havila and the B.C. properties keep moving along but that is a long long play.
Smart always knows where it's going next. It doesn't do one thing and then say now what.
