Unfortunately what I think would really happen is a major would come in offer 20 - 50/share and the majority would take it. The takover company would get a great deal we would not. The only way to get more out of it would be to buy shares in whomever that would be. And I guess this is why it is important to get the stock price up as high as possible prior to a takeover so any low ball bid wouldn't look so good.
