Links in a Chain

Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
What an incredible 3 days! Yesterday ended with a Corporate Update and from that posters to this board have reacted in many ways. Its run the gamut from downright disgruntlement to counting new riches.
The conspiracy theories are all in play. SEC may have wanted an answer. Blackout
FWIW here is my take:
Yesterday was just another link in a long chain of events that are moving this company forward to being a top tier mineral exploration company. The first paragraph of the NR told me that results from Tesoro will not be released piece meal. There will be no trench by trench or core by core results released. I'm thinking all the results are going to McEllaney and when the current phase of exploration is complete, all the numbers in and compiled, we will get a big picture view of Tesoro. Until then, set it aside. Any news that comes out in the near future will not contain Tesoro results and Lori has effectively tempered expectations.
So we have a new analyst looking at us. Great! Again it is the next set in company building. When I go to my online brokerage site and get an SLI quote, I click on analysis and it says there is none. All that is there is a link to the S&P Report. Same at Equedia where it says, "There is no research information on file for this symbol." Soon this will no longer be the case as St. Elias grows in the number of analysts take notice of us. It is an important step in the growth of this company. Many investors rely on these analysts and having their reports on the trading platforms will increase interest in our company.
I doubt Lori threw this together to satisfy a SEC request. She is simply making an update. As for the blackout. Firstly I'll point out that it is anecdotal. If factual, it was not for yesterday's NR. There is other news in the que. But it will not be about Tesoro. We've been told.
So the other big thing we are awaiting is an AMEX listing. Goes hand in hand with a new analyst being on board and would expose us to an immensely larger market. Nothing would please me more that to see us listed come Monday morning.
SLI is more than just advancing one exploration property. A premier exploration company is being built. It take time and there are many many steps in the process. Each a link in a long chain. While news has not always gushed forth as some here would like, it has come out in major releases that covered much information and showed us that much had taken place while we were waiting. The same is taking place here and now. Wait for it, it will be worth it.
Cheers
