Yea these financial adviors can really screw up people's mind. Like the one who told me not to buy a house in the 60s because of all the interest I would be paying on the mortgage.

Then a house was $14,000; the same house now is at $450,000. Lucky I didn't listen to that "financial advisor" for long.
