I would consider this to be "A Blackout" not a halt for proper terminology.

I am in the oil and gas business and all company personel during any quarterly result periods and certain times of the year would be blacked out for any trading. Also if any key personal are privelaged to any key/material information there were not allow to trade stock. It is considered insider trading even if you were buying or selling.

Hold on to your hats folks, the roller coaster ride is turning another corner soon and we can not see what is coming but the emotions and excitment is climbing.
