At some point in time, probably with the discovery of the giant anomaly, I think Lori knew this was going to be a big gold discovery, rather than a successful small mine. To guide it safely through the raptors on Howe Street in Vancouver, her plan was to have the company listed on Amex; this gives more credibility to the company and also a lot more exposure that will be needed to obtain maximum and fair exposure to the eligible big companies or counties that will evaluate Tesoro. Once enough interest was raised to make her company eligible, the application went in, as you all know.

We also know that a group of wealthy and powerful businessmen flew to the property. (This in itself is an expensive undertaking) If pertinent drill results came in that had to be disclosed and the Amex listing still had not been approved then in order to wait for the listing, there had to be non disclosure agreement in place, and presumably this has happened. It could be from a big company such as Barrick, or these heavy hitters may have formed a new company for this purpose. Lori would need an interested party to receive the results until the Amex listing came along. After that I would guess that she would like to disclose a nice little tidbit, followed by progressive information, all worked out firmly in her mind.

(Incidentally there are at least two independent persons that own several million shares).

Once the listing is approved, then we will see a tantalizing announcement, such as cross sections of the geophysical report and with this the total tonnage in the giant anomaly. This will cause speculation on the grades reported. The grades will not, and should not be released (IMO) until the company and SLI’s potential have been disseminated and is more widely known. I doubt if there are any results yet from the important deep drill holes. To these ends, we peek into the calculated progress Lori is making; the Forbes interview, the tour, meeting in Chicago etc.

I would also like to comment on the geophysics and particularly the resistance and chargeability of gold that was deposited in sulphide bodies. It is obvious that some readers are unaware of the nature of the geophysics in spite of information in the link library. For the benefit of newer members and apologies to many, I think a repetition is in order. I can’t understand why anyone is restless or nervous if they investigate and study the geophysics involved.

Please bear in mind this is not my forte, but I did have Mr. Auld, an excellent electrical teacher in grade eight, and this provided a start to wiring my house. To begin with, if you stick your finger into a light bulb socket with the switch on, you get a shock from the electrical current. This is made up by a voltage level and an amperage level. There is some resistance in your finger to the full charge, and you can get a better shock if you change this by licking your finger, or wetting your finger with salt water. I like to compare two holes in a dam, one at 60 feet and ¾ inch in diameter. You see a tiny spray of water jetting out about 50 feet with high velocity- equate this to amperage. Another hole at surface is 5x 10 feet – this lazy flow of a huge amount of water is similar to voltage. Currents are manufactured to the desired levels by variables in volts and amps.

Naturally occurring weak electrical currents flow between rock formations having different electrical charges, and are stronger in the vicinity of metallic sulphides. These currents produce a measurable voltage, and are like a large battery. Now Quantec introduces artificial currents into the ground being tested and a second and third set of electrodes placed 50m apart, on either side of the central delivering current. The computer both delivers the initial charge and records the resultant induced charge, and in this way measures the amount of resistance the ground has to current flow. Metallic minerals in the earth are good electrical conductors and have a low resistance whereas barren rocks have high resistance. So the massive anomaly is not rock alone.

The next introduction was the indirect energization of the ground by a primary alternating current using a powerful transmitting coil. Around natural conductors such as Tesoro a secondary electrical field is produced, and again these fields can be detected by a receiving coil that tells Quantec the conductivity.

The resistivity technique was further developed when in the lab it was discovered that disseminated particles throughout a rock (not apparent in the earlier techniques) that were not electrically connected, by using a square wave generator and could be measured because the particles become charged for a short time and act like a capacitor to store electricity. This is the induced polarization method and can also be made by energizing the ground and then turning the current off quickly. This sudden collapse of a magnetic field induces a large voltage in a secondary coil such as a flash gun for your camera, so a small 6 volt battery can build up a voltage of 5000 volts.

By measuring the voltage of the ground at two different very low electrical frequencies, the capacitive effect can be calculated. In the link library, this decay in the latter part of the tracing is important. The slope of the results that change are measured in microradians and it is this high readings of 18 and 16 in the anomaly that make me quite relaxed and quite willing for Lori to steadfastly let the results come out in first a small way, then attracting more attention, etc. thus I don’t have any guesses for when x will be released. The deep drill grades are the most important and probably this is just underway. If the Amex comes through then I would expect carefully orchestrated news events to start.

I would caution advising anyone to sell shares if they are disgruntled. There are a lot of people that don’t want to know anything other the daily share price, and I don’t disagree with that with the exception that some think Lori should be doing this or that and to me reveal their threadbare knowledge of the company and what has transpired. Show me many other companies that have paid their exploration expenses from the gold they processed along the way, and realize Lori doesn’t have SLI with 250,000 shares out!
