As all of you know I've been a long term supporter of SLI and one of it's biggest fans so the intention of this post is not to bash or be unnecessarily harsh but to simply clarify the Travel Expense discussion of the last day. I respectfully disagree with some you, Travel costs are not renting helicopters to fly to properties, shuttling Geo to propertis, shipping samples to labs etc. All those types of expenses are exploration expenses and come out of the exploration budget.

Travel expense are Travel expense by management and its employees.

From the May 31 2011 Management Discussion and Analysis Papers it states " Travel costs increased to $798,566 in 2011, from $164,074 in 2011 due to an expanded promotional/marketing program including the attendance of the Company personnel at trade conferences"

Now I appreciate all management (especially Murry) has done to promote the stock and I do believe that is one of the reasons the stock has performed so well in this down market,however I find $798,566 an excessive amount for travel, considering we are a Jr. mining company with no revenue.
