If you look at the verticle striations in the vein itself, there looks to me to be at least 4 deposition events. This means that gold here could have been deposited at 4 different times. Notice also how you can see this vein widening at depth to about 40 cm. A photo at the Halifax presentation, showed the vein around the 40 meter level along a different section of being about 150cm wide. This is a pinch and swell vein and the pulses will vary in size, but most likely the trend will be wider at depth. Of other importance here, is the fact that veinlets are shooting off perpendicular into the host rock. If all these veinlets carry appreciable gold, it will aslo add value to the host rock.
