I did some digging and found the news release from Kirkland Lake. It says about 8 ozs over 46 feet or approx 12 meters.

When they assayed this intercept, their density was calculated in order to call the grade. What we need to do is understand that a constant of .36 m3 will be used to compare this to our 11 ozs over 4 meters/tonne. If we say the average width of the A-4 vein is .36m, then we use that number in our calculations. The other 2 numbers are l=1000 cm, and w= 1000cm. When calculating the drill hole, I put the 36 cm part of the block on the side, when calculating our sample, I put the 36 cm on the bottom and took the 4 meters horizontal along the vein.

This is only meant to be rough calcs and to get a point across.

To put our grade into perspective with theirs for comparison sake, I GET;

Theirs 8 OZS/12M = .66 OZS PER METER

Ours 11 OZS/4M= 2.75 OZS PER METER

Even though our sample is a bulk sample and theirs is a drill assay, the size of a ton will be mostly the same.
