Lima, Oct. 05 (ANDINA). Peru is the second best place in Latin America to do business, according to Forbes magazine’s annual look at the Best Countries for Business, released Tuesday.
In terms of region, Chile tops the list of Latin American economies as it ranks 24th in Forbes’ ranking of global economies, while Peru holds the 42nd place.
Behind Peru are Mexico (57), Panama (60), Uruguay (61), Colombia (62), Argentina (95), Nicaragua (111), Ecuador (114), Bolivia (123), and Venezuela (130).
In addition, Forbes ranked Canada as the world’s best country for business, among the 134 nations reviewed. New Zealand came in second, with Hong Kong taking the third spot.
