IMO, gold will only be bought til it can,t anymore. That is the pivot point of civility. When paper currency is worthless, we are most likely on the edge of the appocalypse. You will have the demise of civility and the next most coveted thing, that will outshine gold, is oil. It will be the same as some of the movies about the breakdown of society.

Now, I am not expecting the appocalypse anytime soon, but I do expect gold to keep creeping up there for awhile. The question is what POG would break the camels back? The world powers are worried about this rise in POG and are trying to keep it down, but at the same time, trying to get a little more incase they don,t succeed. Looks like they have theirselves in quite a jam. The only course of action they can take at this time, is to try to control it somewhat and don,t let it get too high before they can come up with a solution to the mess they made. And I am just not talking about stateside, I am talking about the whole kit and kaboodle of this planet.

If you think about it, really gold is worth nothing if no one wants to buy it. What uses does it have if society breaks down? Gold would most likely be useless to barter with. I know I would rather have food and oil, than gold. Gold doesn,t help me survive.

I do know, I would like to see SLI get proven up and sold quickly, so I can stock up on food and oil, just in case the appocalypse is close.
