Hey Hog,

Silver falls into that sulfide class and alloys with gold to become electrum. The electrum will give off a real high reading also, by itself, but other sulfides are there with it adding even more strength to the images on the anomaly by the C-1 vein.

As far as I know, in the A-4 workings, there are little sulfides. This is because most of them have been oxidized down to the 50+ m level. The sulfides were there, they have just become limonite because of the oxidation. Now, down below the A-4, you are in the sulfide zone. Here is where the sulphides haven,t been oxidized and will change from the limonite into sulphides at some level around the 80 m level. I beleive the host rock is more porous in the A-4 area and allowed more oxidation to occur than in the C-1 area, hence the slightly different associator to the gold.

The correlation here in the A-4 workings to the giant anomaly, is that at depth, the limonite will change to pyrites and sulphides, and give off a huge signal that would represent high sulphide content. To take this a step further, the globs of gold (as high as 19 oz,s) are directly associated with limonite at the A-4, if that gold/limonite association continues to depth into the anomaly, well....

IMO, you won,t see gold minus the sulphides, or sulphides minus the gold because, gold and sulphides are closely related and need pretty well the same conditions to form. You will see differences in the ratio of gold to sulphides, but I beleive it is said that in our case, (as you mentioned , Hog) that the deeper we go, the gold grade goes up when the sulphide grade goes up.

The amazing thing to me about the last comment, is that the grades of gold down to 100m are getting higher, so maybe the chances of the gold grade in the anomaly being drastically below the average grade so far and down to as low as 1 g/t are slim.

Another thing, if the anomalies were not consistent mineralization, they would just not show up on the images as such. They would show up as bands or shoots, not solid masses like we are seeing. This is wide spread mineralization with consistency, that we are seeing in those images.

IMO
