Long time reader, first time poster; thanks for the great insight that you all have surrounding this company and the current economic landscape. I am new to the stock market and have a small position in SLI. I live in Montreal but happen to be vacationing in Vancouver right now with my fiance and a quick google search revealed that we're staying exactly three blocks away from head office.

With no particular purpose in mind I decided to stroll over and check out the operation, maybe see if anyone was around. Anyhow I had the good fortune of speaking with someone from the SLI team and it was a pretty cool experience, it somehow made everything so much more real. Though this person was clearly not able to say very much about the Tesoro project in particular, I can assure you that there is a very positive buzz around the office; they seem very excited about the progress that's been made. They never actually verified if the drill program had commenced but they alluded to the fact that we're in an exciting time.

If the fact that SLI gained 2 cents today in spite of the TSX-V and the Junior Exchange getting absolutely HAMMERED doesn't make you feel better about the prospective goldmine (pardon the pun) before us, you can take solace in the fact that the management team is abuzz with positive energy surrounding this project.
