Message: open pit?

As you can see from this diagram where I circled and wrote "very close to surface", this would probably be a great spot to start your open pit. Hog has shown us in a post with diagrams how the anomaly in this area almost breaches the surface. So, if you start here, you are in the high grade stuff right off the bat, you dont have to move tons and tons of dirt to get at the anomaly itself. I would guess that the initial ground escavated to start the open pit will probably be processed for gold.

If this is the case, whoever buys Tesoro (if), will be making money from literally day 1. If this is the case, this alone will add immense value, and will become one of the most determining factors in a buy out price.

The recent trenching will/should tell us so much more about this area, that it will give us facts about the gaps where there is presently no surface samples. I am also guessing , that after looking at the 3D and realising the anomaly was this close to the surface, that they targeted this area with a lot of their trenching. If they uncover new auriferous veins in this area, it will greatly add validation to the anomaly.

I beleive you could have another open pit in the Zona Sur region, as surface samples there were good too. Where I have A-4 circled on the photo, you can see the gray area, thats the tailings pile from the A-4 workings. The dip of the A-4 vein slants towards the anomaly, RATHER THAN AWAY FROM IT, so, I am assuming the anomaly is its source. The Quantec images suggest this too. So, I guess, with pods of gold up to 19 oz/t, what are you left to beleive at present?

All of this post is just my opinion and the way I see things, by looking at the data we have.

Here is a link to the worlds biggest open pit;
