Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
So, I ask the question " if 70% of the shares vote against a takeover, how can that company be taken over"?
Answer; It can,t.
When/if it comes down to voting on a takeover offer, it would be good then to get a share count. Others that only read this board and do not post may be called upon at that time to let us know how many shares they have so it can be added to the posters here. There may not come a time that we will have to tally our shares in preparation for a vote. If Lori beleives she has the majority of the shareholders behind her, it may be in our best interest NOT to publicly advertise that strength on this forum. IMO, we should only haul that ace out of our backpocket if need be.
I think most feel that longs have a majority and I also beleive it. Everyone realises the strength in numbers and it will most likely apply here. I have been speculatively questioned on this before, but I stand my ground; if these shares stick together with Lori as our leader, we can almost dictate our buyout price, within reason.
We have enough info gathered up on this forum, it has been shared with a lot of SLI holders and I beleive most of you know by now that we are sitting on something huge and very valuable. BOW and HOG have done tremendous calculations that can be relied on, if someone don,t beleive it, the numbers are all in the link library, do your own math. All the hints that suggest something huge are also in the link library.
So, now that most, if not all, on this forum and further ,know our properties potential coupled with the fact that our faithful shareholders holdings are over 51%, we are going to able to acheive great things sp wise.
Its because of these two things ;
1) over 51% of the shareholders will hold out til the final buyout price and stand behind Lori in negotiations to get fair value for our shares.
2) all indications so far are pointing to a possible 100 million ounce gold deposit.
that BOW can confidently give you these share prices north of $100. I know it sounds crazy, but if anyone does the math and a little thinking, I am sure they will arrive close to the same conclusion. If one of the above is severly coprimised, then BOWS sp most likely can,t be attained. If this sp goes to $50 in the middle of a bidding war, and everyone of us longs decide to take some money off the table, this could upset the vote percentage below 51%. In that scenario, don,t expect to get $100 per share for the rest of your shares because someone else now has those voting rights and may help the vote in favour of a $60 share price. In this event, the suitor would have most likely gained a lot of bargaining power as a result of scooping up the shares that were let go at $50 and he knows he doesn,t have to pay the $100 per share. In this event he could play around and say he is withdrawing his offer, provoking more to sell, all the time his partners are buying and getting their percentage of the votes up to that magic 51-60% level. You get the picture.
IMO, this road to riches will not be a smooth ride. When you have something this valuable, greed kicks in by other interests and they will try to shake this tree. They can try to shake it in a couple ways and I will be watching for signs of these antics. We can,t leave shares be shaken from us if we want to reach the fair value sp. We have to maintain that magic 52% of the vote, if we don,t maintain the 52%, we might be forced to sell for a fraction of what could have been $100 sp or better. I would much rather sell my shares for over $100 each, than seen them stole from me for $20. If control of the vote is taken from us, the $20 is possible.
Its everyones own choice what they decide to do with their shares. I am only trying to show what levels can be attained if everyone sticks together.
IMO
