A TFSA is a TAX FREE SAVINGS ACCOUNT. You dont pay any taxes on your capital gains, its free!It is available to Canadians only. I suspect you are state side but thought the U.S. offered a similar product ?

As for shorters only being able to borrow shares from margin accounts, we are looking into this to get some kind of answers.
