I am constantly looking for new info on the Tesoro, as is conspicuous.I was looking at a sample program done by the previous owners in 2003. The POG then was close to $400, see link below.

The sample program, done by Minera Reliance in 2003, shows, IMO some excellent numbers. It appears it was an unbiased program by seeing lots of 1-3 g/t samples. If it was biased, it would most likely have shown more of the higher grade samples, therefore I trust it as a good random program. They targeted various veins by channel samples that were uncovered by trenching or were seen on the surface. Keep in mind, that most of the high grade stuff easily seen at the surface has been taken by the informales, these samples could be considered their "leftovers" The informales were high graders, and if they didn,t see visable gold in a vein, they wouldn,t pursue it. I held a section of a companies drill core at the PDAC in March, that assayed over 200 g/t gold and you could not see visable gold in this sample.

This sample program is on FIG 13-1, page 250 of the most recent technical report. This sample program is identified as Historical Sampling on that Figure. Not all the historical sampling came from this report I am talking about that is on the fig 13-1 map, some of it came from other sources in which I am trying to track down. The main thing is, all of these samples are plotted on that map and represents veins.

There were 34 vein channel samples taken with an average grade of approx 9.5 g/t gold. I would say they are excellent numbers for "leftovers"!I beleive most of the pits dug by the informales were around 3 meters deep, they went deeper in some high grade areas, but their depth was still limited with their crude utensils.

Its good to see these samples somewhat scattered over the property, again adding more great representation of areas we thought had no info. Its becoming even more clear to me that there is a lot of info on the Tesoro, its just not layed out easy for everyone to see and some of it requires quite a bit of digging. I don,t know why I keep digging, its always the same result, things keep looking better and better. I guess I should be like most posters here and just wait, we know there is lots of gold on Tesoro, and its a matter of time , only.
