From yesterdays news release;
High-Priority Near-Surface Geophysical Targets Most of the first-priority geophysical targets are situated along, in the vicinity of, or at the intercepts of 12 unexplored major lineaments that were defined from the results of the Titan 24 Geophysical Surveys. The major lineaments orientations may represent several geological and structural events relevant to a mesothermal model and gold mineralization. Take note of the word up above "unexplored". You can look at page 123, fig 2-4 of the technical report to see these lineaments. Lineaments are faults or fractures in the earth that allowed or were caused by, the fluids that carried the mineralization to or near the surface. In other words, lineaments are the conduits. The largest percentage of these lineaments are situated at the main corridor. The other ones are on the North east area and eastern side. There are less on the east side, but that does not mean there is less gold there. I suspect its there, only deeper, and where its deeper,there was less destruction to the surface when it was deposited. I have been looking at the first technical report on the property and have found some more interesting important info. I would like to post the diagram here, but as of yet, I can,t find a way to do it. Hog will see if he can help me over the next while to get it on here. In this diagram, it shows the grades of some early surface samples. It would be very interesting to overlay this diagram onto the lineament diagram and show you. You could then draw your own conclusions of how important this trenching will be and what it may find. One of these samples I am interested in particularily. It is in Zona Este, this surface sample returned a grade between 15-30 g/t. It is the closest one to the intersection of two of these lineaments. There is another sample the further you get away from this lineament, but it ranges between 0-2g/t. But, there is another reason that last sample is low, its not on a geophysical favourable part of that general area. This is where the Quantec will guide the geo,s to the most prominent parts of the property.Samples will be taken on less prominent parts of the property also because we will need the grade of the bad parts to put together with the good parts to get an average grade across the surface to see if its a high enough grade for open pit mining.
