Remember when this deal was finally done, it was based on Gold trading @ approx $400 per OZ, and when you do the Math, they got approx $200 per OZ in the ground based on approx 5 Million OZ

Here's 3 years of Average Gold prices

1995 = $384

1996 = $388

1997 = $331
