My first involvement with a stock for a mining company.

I understand the possible effects/benefits to my shares in a company if that company is bought out by another. But I am unsure on the immediate effect on my shares of sli(selsf - since I'm from down south) if another company purchases the rights to the tesoro property and not sli itself.

My current thought is that sli becomes flush with money to pursue other properties, but I see that giving less of a bump to the sp then if the entire company is purchased.
