Excellent post Hog, and an interesting point indeed. I should comment that I said here I would like to see the company report visuals of the drill core. On second thought, that might not be a good idea on the Tesoro, for a couple of reasons.

1) I have seen a section of a drill core one time that assayed over 200 g/t gold. You could not see visable gold in that core because of its association and state.

2) At/near the C-1, the gold is associated with high sulfidation. Here, by looking at a drill core, would tell you nothing of the gold grade because its mixed with silver as electrum and with the pyrites as association. The fire assay would most definitely be done for here.

3) At the A-4, I beleive the gold has a strong correlation with limonite and porous substances. Here, you could report visuals, because of how its found.

4) The anomalies will be a conglomeration of metals with gold the most prominent. The gold will have to be seperated in all these holes from the other metals and a visable inspection will tell you nothing of the gold contained with/in the associated metals.

The only reason I wanted drill core visuals reported on was because; with the high grades we have been seeing at the Tesoro, visable gold should not be hard to find in some of the core. The important thing to show, is the PROOF, no matter how much you can see visually (unless there are solid gold sections in the core), if you see one flake, that would be excellent proof.

One gram of gold is not very big, and all you have to see is one tiny visable piece in the core every 1 m to give you the 1 g/t that Bow uses in his calculations.
