The print got small in the previous post, so I abandoned it and am contiuing on this one. Sorry, but I didn,t know how to change the text size on the post.

By looking at our technical report samples, I noticed certain metals, plus the heavy sulfides that can be accompanied by PGM, s. I see these were not tested for in the report, and wonder if anyone here knows if they were ever tested for at the Tesoro?

I have interest in PGM,s for my own reasons and have been looking at a few companies PGM assays and geology as of late. It was interesting to find that PGM,s association with other metals is not always the same, IMO, there were no set rules for association. Having said that, I believe selected samples from the Tesoro may have a chance of containing PGM,s in sufficient grades. Or they may not. In my research mentioned above, I have come across at least one company that sampled another miners tailing pile to find out that economical PGM grades were present, that were never tested for before. As with most metals lately,lower grades have become economical because of the high prices.

There is a section in the link I will provide again at the bottom of this post, that mentions platinum in Columbia. Its on the same continent and it borders Peru on the north east.

Fire assay is the best for gold, but the platinum could be missed if not tested for. Here is an excerpt taken from a testing site;

For gold determinations lead collection fire assay remains the classic method of choice however aqua regia digest, accelerated cyanide leach or BLEG are alternatives for specific purposes. Some platinum group elements can be picked up from these methods along with gold however platinum group elements are best determined by nickel sulphide collection fire assay

The same tectonic plating runs right up into Columbia, so, if there is PGM,s in Columbia, there is an excellent chance for them to be close to us.We also have the volcanics which play a part. There may be some PGM mines in Peru, but I havent checked. That will be another search.
