Sculpin; I believe the PGMs (platinum group metals) only include platinum ,paladium, rhodium, iridium, osmium and ruthenium. I dont think moly falls into the precious metals group, but I may stand corrected. I also think that you would need a significant volume of ore smelted to get enough to count. I say that because of the amount of gold mined at Brenda mines. With 182 million tonnes of ore mined at Brenda, we only got 2 tonnes of gold total. Very small percentage wise. .00002418 % or 0.2 grams per tonne. I am quite sure that the small amount of gold in a core sample would be smaller than a detectable microscopic dust flake. Could be wrong though, and my math may be wrong. just my opinion. Rinky
