Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
After going over the 53 page document I previously posted and double checking with Kinross,s Technical report on the Fruta Del Norte, I have made some conclusions and have drawn some comparisons. I could do a lot more digging and looking around for info on the deposit, but I will say that I am satisfied with what I did do. Kinross hasn,t mined this YET, because of politics mainly, so I cant get any mine grades to compare with the drill results the way I did with Arequipa,s "Payback Hill". Upon limited research, it appears that this deposit will be shaft mined. The bulk of the deposit sits between 350-600m below the surface. Look at pg 20 of this report AND notice the scale, I always suggest for anyone looking at diagrams in mining/explorer stocks to pay attention to the sizes and distances.Take particular notice of the faults on either side of the mineralization.
It takes a minute to get it opened and you might like to open another window for easy access.

The fact that the buyout price for this probably shaft mined deposit was high, tells me that what we may have, could be extremely more valuable. Whereas its quite possible that the Tesoro will be an open pit mine. I glanced at some soil and surface samples taken at the Fruta Del Norte, and they were no way as impressive as some of ours. Its quite possible that Aurealian had better samples there, I just did not do much digging.
On page 25 of the report, I found this diagram interesting in comparing it with our main structure, "the main corridor", not to leave out the " North Corridor". This diagram is uncanny in appearance to our property. When looking at this diagram, look at the position of the faults on either side of the deposit and the trend. Also keep in mind that this deposit is very much likely to be part of the same mineralized belt that runs along the western side of South America, passing close to us. This deposit looks just like our main corridor in structure and a lot of the geological features are very similar to ours.
The drill intercepts are very impressive, and I feel that we will have no trouble being close to par. I am seeing too many similarities with this deposit that I feel very comfortable with all our earlier estimates of things on this forum. There are numerous interesting things in the document that I could compare, deposit wise, but will not, because it all looks good to me. Particularly, their descriptions of how the deposits were formed.
So, conclusion, again, if they have approx 11 million ounces of gold there, we have way more.
Our first drill results should be totally amazing.
