Obviously we will all never agree or disagree on this point, about Hub Leaders (Moderators), pulling posts, and banning posters from time to time.
A previous post, mentioned we should let the people decide.
I totally disagree. Most things we do day by day, have some sort of moderation. Can you imagine playing a hockey game, and when you have a questionable call, getting all the players together, and asking them to decide? Besides, on this board, how would you ever have the time to ensure everyone had their vote, before the same poster throws out 10 more messages that may violate Agoracom's rules.
We have Leaders for a reason, and their job is for sure not easy, and they will for sure not be the most popular people on this board, but they have a job to do. Personally, it's not a job I would want to do.
We should all remember back to when Hog basically had enough of this board, and was ready to stand back. He took a week to reflect, and thankfully for all of us he came back.
His first post after returning, which was a pretty good summary of his feelings, gained a record number of recommendations, and I think we all (majority anyway) showed him from that our appreciation, of all his hard work.
I as well, love to read the other side, or what some may call the negative side, cause I try very hard myself, with friends, co workers, fellow investors, to always see what I might be missing, because for me it's very hard to see.
Bottom Line, if we all follow the 6 rules of Agoracom, there will not be any debate in the future:
