hey long, I know what you are trying to say and I have rolled that over in my mind many times. My answer to your statement below is as follows.

I guess to what it all boils down to in the end, is that we want our investments to do good. We are all here to make money, not lose it. Even though something may look like a pump, its not hurting the stock to the degree that its causing everyone to sell. If these so called pump posts are derived from using fact, and 1 + 1 =2, really how much of it could be called a pump when its based on fact. On the other hand, a non factual degrading statement about the company can HURT your investment. If these degrading statements persist over a period of time, investors get restless and then start to sell. When this happens, the sp deteriorates, and this is exactly what a major may want to see to make his move on a company. I have seen a few times this happen, where investors of a security are worn down by all kinds of methods, and when the time is right, a major comes in and throws an offer on the table for a 30% premium over a stocks last 20 day sp average. If during that time shortly before the 20 day period, a lot of bashing was going on and the smart funds were buying stock that other investors were scared out of, well then they just might have aquired enough shares to cause the vote to go for the takeout offer of a 30% premium. The smart funds usually dont care about the long term and will take that 40% quick profit. This type of games has seen many companies bought out on the cheap over the years and investors robbed of the true value of their investments.

The Tesoro to much of us holds great promise. At the end of the day, you have to with the facts, and if you have two mines with proven high grade gold corresponding with structures that take you to anomalies, what are you left to beleive the anomalies hold? I dont think saying the anomalies containing a half or 1 g/t gold is unreasonable. When BOW and HOG do there numbers, they are using the lowest grade possible. If we were to use an average grade of 3 g/t, the numbers get crazier yet and no one will beleive it. But hey, payback hill of Arequipa,s bought by Barrack was proven to have an average grade of 8 g/t, but when mined had an average gold grade of 24 g/t! So, using simple reasoning, we have MINED 2 areas with grades the same as the 24 g/t or better. The simple thing to keep in mind here is that if we only have a few million ounces, we are still worth much more than what we are trading at today.

"Can this not only be said about statements that are bad about SLI as well as statements that are good. I know you guys are doing your best at this being the hub leaders role but maybe you should step back a bit and have a look. What you might see is that there are many posts or users that should be removed because they post good or outrageously good unproven statements about the reserves, cost to exploit, management plans and the like. "

Your statement:

Also on another note, I read hog's post several times about Geer and still cannot see what it is that he did, am I missing something here? I didn't see any personal attack.

There were personal attacks involved, you might not have seen the post, because it may have got lifted before you could read it.

Geer persistantly kept saying that the anomaly was 100,s of meters below the A-4. That is not the case, Hog had called Murry and Murry said that they figure the anomaly starts under the A-4 level at 80 m,s. Murry had said to the south of A-4 that the anomaly looks like it breaches the surface. Also, GEER was told that the anomaly colors were toned down when presenting it in those images for the simple fact that management had to do this so they will be able to target what they think are the highest grade parts. If they wouldn.t have toned it down, there would have been too much clutter and drill targets may not have been placed in the best spots.

GEER was presented with these facts, yet he persisted in saying no and would not listen to reason. At that point in time it started to look like he may have had another agenda where he would not respond to reason.
