For anyones info, most if not all veins on the Tesoro have steep dips, around 85 degrees. This statement becomes important when one tries to figure out the geology of a vein gold deposit. The fact that the Tesoro veins are generally continuous and steep dipping, is very suggestive of a deep deposition process, or intrusion. To simplify this, I am saying that the angle of these veins are next to verticle, the more verticle veins are, the better the chance that the source of gold was/is deeper. Just picture a 45 degree angle in your head, and a 90 degree angle. If a vein was on a 45 degree angle, its source would be off our property, BUT where we have almost verticle veins, that is suggestive of the source for all the Tesoro veins to be almost directly underneath. The "giant Anomaly" would be any geo,s guess as being the source for the upper 300-400m of mineralisation around the C Veins.

Having said that, it should be reasonable to apply this scenario to any vein structure on the Tesoro. At first I thought that maybe the C-1 vein structures were epithermal and their initial source was from volcanics to the northwest. I now beleive that that is not the case and that the likelyhood of the C-1 being connected to the anomaly is the better choice. I could go into deeper thought on this, but I will try to keep it simple so everyone will understand my point. It is very possible that one mesothermal system is responsible for the deposits at Tesoro,ie; all connected somewhere at greater depths.

By looking at the new 3D images it also appears that the main intrusion and source, came from the southeast. I say this because if you take the angle from the top of the giant anomaly to the top of the smaller anomaly, you get a declining trend. This would be suggestive of the main source for these anomalies as being oriented towards the south. Also, you cant rule out the chances of a second enrichment from directly below the giant anomaly, whereas it shows open to depth.

Overall, what I am leading to here, is that the newly aquired land to the south holds great promise, to me.
