There are lots of funds out there that buy and sell venture stocks everyday. I,m guessing by a little reading done awhile ago, that they amount in the hundreds. There are funds that accumulate and hold,their investment ideas are like ours, growth for their clients portfolios. You dont really know when these guys are accumulating, (but there are indicators), until they release something like this;

http://www.cnw.ca/en/releases/archive/February2011/23/c5432.html

Once they get up to the 10% level of a security, they have to publicly disclose this. Its their own choice if they wish to disclose that they have below that amount.Anyways, when these funds are buying on the open market, its quite possible that 2 or 3 could be accumulating at the same time, and if so, will take advantages of the dips if the value of the stock should warrant it. There are also some funds, like the retail guy, that buy on speculation. An example of the speculative guy would be Sprott.

Some of these funds will have different accumulation methods. Some methods are welcomed by retail, some are not. It could very well be that the unwelcomed method is being used now. To my knowledge, non of the Venture Funds have participated in any financing of SLI. That statement in its self says something for SLI. There are VERY little venture companies that can say they came this far without needing assistance from these funds that offer financing in return for shares and precious warrants.

So, I guess I am not suprised to see all the ODD and STRANGE trading. If some of these funds beleive like us, that we have the goods, then they may take their measures to extremes to get shares. It would be worth the hard work of circling the shares day in and day out for a period of time, if they thought they may possibly get a 2000% return in a very short period of time. And if they want shares bad enough, this is the only way to get them.

If another pp is done in the near future, I dont beleive SLI will have any trouble getting that filled by individual investors. I know that I would like to participate if I could. I wouldnt doubt a few on this board would also. So, it may be tough for the funds to get a nice piece of this pie. And, if us retail keep picking away at the circulating shares out there, taking them OUT of circulation, then that trading float of shares gets smaller. Each time this is done by us, it strengthens our tightly held stock and forces the price to go up for those floating shares. Also, by each one of us taking a 1000 shares out of that float, it adds dearly to the value of our existing shares. For example;

Buy 1000 shares into the ask at .01 higher than the current price. The share price goes up .01. But say you had 100000 shares before this, that just put your portfolio up $1000.

There are a lot of long investors here that beleive we have the big thing. If each one of us were to do that when we thought the sp was undervalued, we would only be supporting our investment and INCREASING its value. I beleive it was said in the Florida advertisement that we have about 3000 individual investors in SLI. That equates to each investor averaging around 18k of stock, if 50% of them are long. I suspect that the 50% is much higher than that, but management would know from their share list that they can get monthly. Anyways if 1500 shareholders bought 1000 shares each, that would take 1.5 mil shares out of commission. I am not saying to do this, rather just show the impact it could have if everyone thought the same. But, keep in mind that there may be 30-50 million shares floating out there, so the 1.5 million shares may mean nothing. But, maybe its a good idea to keep accumulating a bit here and there, it all helps.

I guess these are just ramblings consisting of thoughts and IMO,s.
