Did the gold mentioned here come from the region of the Tesoro? Nevertheless, I find it interesting that Robert Louis Stevensons book "Treasure Island" may have a connection to the Tesoro. I watched a program 2 nights ago on tv about this and it prompted me to have a little look into it.
