Hey WOXOF, was not ignoring your request, just got up from nights. I'd have to do lots of digging I'm sure to find this data.
I was just aware of the share prices & buyout offer, cause I remember it clearly watching the NR on BNN that day.
Just to keep in mind, the price per OZ that Goldcorp offered was extremely high (IMO), as well there was lots of silver, etc, and I guess in their minds lots of future potential.
Bottom Line though, the point I wanted to get across, was we always need to know how many fully diluted outstanding shares were involved with any take out. The $ per share really means nothing, and it's something we should not compare unless we know they have the same amount of fully diluted outstanding shares as we do.
Buyout Offer = # of OZ X The price someone is willing to pay per OZ in the ground
Then: Buyout Offer / Fully diluted Outstanding Shares = $ per share
When we want to compare to SLI:
Take the Buy out Offer / Our fully diluted outstanding shares (approx 115 Million), that will for sure give you the approx equivalent share price based on the # of OZ they are acquiring
Clear as Mud?
