Hog, I hope you and Sculp continue to moderate, as this hub has been awesome, and I feel exceptionally well-informed as an SLI investor, due in large part to all the info that has been dug up and presented on this board. I hope that everyone continues to treat everyone else with respect.

There is frustration over the permits. I am in agreement with others who feel it would help if mgmt put out something in the form of a NR that would help ease some nerves. I must admit I'm a bit baffled as to why mgmt appears reluctant to do this, because I'm pretty sure they are well aware of the shareholder unrest wrt this issue. For me personally it's not that big a deal because I'm confident that the permit will come, but I understand this is a big deal for many investors. There is a perception out there that the permit is taking longer than should reasonably be expected, and because of this perception people start wondering if something is wrong.

I use the word "perception" because as has been pointed out many times, there is so much going on behind the scenes we only have a superficial view of what is really happening. So when people start to guess as to what might be going on, or guess that something is wrong, it is just that: a guess.

I do not think there is anything wrong, however, I would be lying if I didn't say I've been hit with the odd bout of doubt and anxiety about this from time to time. But that's only because I'm soaking up what others perceive as being a problem. And I'm also pretty heavily invested (well, accoding to my financial situation anyway!!).

Anyways, I am not a fan of whining and bickering, and I don't mind the odd vent here and there, as long as it's done with some tact, otherwise we will slide down the slippery slope toward the Stockhouse standard.
