I'm just catching up on many posts here, so I might have missed something, but just a comment on these colors as well:

Jake, you mentioned the green, yellow, and blue, I'm assuming you were looking at the resistivity chart on this? Another thing I noticed the other day with the resisitivity scale, it goes from 100 ohm up to 100,000 ohm, and it is not at all proportional (linear). The middle of the scale (in the yellow colors) you'd think would be 50,000 ohms, and it's only approx 5,000. So the yellow, really is not all that high on the resistivity chart. However, if you look at the scale you would think it is, just because it's in the middle.
