Great stuff, as usual sculpin. I was surprised though to read in the article about Barrick's Pascua-Lama project. Barrick has been banking on this for quite some time. If it does not happen due to ongoing political wrangings, (the glacier protection bill), SLI's properties in Peru have just become that much more valuable to Barrick...

According to my info, that property has 17.8 million reserves and 4.8 million resources with a total cash cost of 20-50 dollars an oz. This would be a large void for Barrick to have to fill in their future production and especially balance sheet.
