Sculp, I know how you feel. I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and I asked him if he still had his SLI shares. He said he did, but then he also mentioned he has a new broker that wants to revamp his entire portfolio, which includes selling his SLI shares. Granted he will make a little profit, but I can't imagine that anyone would be stupid enough to sell their shares at this stage in the game. He didn't seem at all concerned that his broker would make this decision on his behalf. But you know, compared to me, my friend and his broker really don't know anything about this stock. To them, especially the broker, it's just a penny stock that might go up, might go down. They really don't care enough to study the fundamentals, which in my mind is no different in saying they really don't want to do some work to potentially make a lot of money. I'd be happy to tell them all I know with great enthusiasm, but if they're not asking for more info, they're not really interested. Amazing, isn't it? That's how I got into SLI. I asked more and more questions, to the point where it made perfect sense to invest. I think that's what separates those who have a comfortable amount of money and those who don't. Those who are comfortable financially study money and make a point of seeking out and analyzing money-making opportunities. Those who don't would rather watch TV and complain about being in the rat race. I believe the latter make up the majority in our western society.

True, we could all look like idiots if the drills pull out iron ore, but if you think of all the information that we've all collectively shared on this board, I would say we are as well-informed and confident as we can dare to be. I think most people want to make a quick buck and enjoy the rush it brings, and consider themselves "investors". Far, far less people are willing to put the time in to study the fundamentals and wait patiently for the developments. And that's why we are in the minority, plain and simple. But it's going to be well worth the wait!
