People, the Don on the other board has been preaching "get you TFSA", and I am doing the same now. If you dont already have them, get them set up not only for yourself, but your whole family, heck even the family pet. You can put $5000 in one of these accounts per year and by stock that you never have to pay ANY tax on. Right now, if you dont have a TFSA, you can put $10,000 in that this year upon opening it. Seize the opportunity and get them set up as quick as you can, cause I beleive there may be some restrictions on them in the future. The government is now realizing the TFSA potential, when used correctly by the individual, it can generate an enormous amount of TAX FREE cash. The government likes and needs there tax dollars and I have been hearing rumors that they are looking at these accounts and maybe making some changes. I dont beleive they can change the past with these accounts, but they could change the future of them by lowering the yearly limit. IMO, now is the time to get these, for those that haven,t already.
