Good day to all. I am hoping to post on this site as the SLI site on Stockhouse has been taken over by lunatics.

That said, I was involved with the Royal Bank when the shares split 2 for 1. My holdings were automatically doubled. Nothing to it. The new share price, did move up faster than old one though. My understanding is that a stock split is a good sign that a company is doing well.
