I dont think this is over yet, there will probably be more bids. I cant comment entirely on the deal whereas i only glanced at the offer. Buyouts in general can come in different shapes and forms etc; all cash offer, cash and share offer, all share offer. Usually an initial offer will be priced at a mininum premium of around 20% or above the average stock price for I think the last 20 trading days.Then if more parties are interested, a bidding war could start. There are so many scenarios that could happen once this process starts that its interesting to watch. hope some of this helps!
