I guess I'm a boring investor. I don't look for the thrill of a quick turn over. This is working for me not just with SLI. Soon after finishing my education I invested in a couple of blue chip stocks. At the time I didn't know enough to do the dividend reinvestment plan right from the beginning, but they are still up many hundreds of percent since I bought them. With the blessing of my long term broker I plan to sell them a few years before my pension kicks in. That way I can retire early, be in a low tax bracket and have income. It may not be for everyone but it's my plan. Now if SLI does what many of us believe it could, that whole plan will need to be reworked. Isn't it awesome that a person could make as much as many lottery winners, but not have the hassle of your picture in the paper and being hounded by long lost friends for money?
