Focused on becoming a near-term Gold Producer
Good afternoon,
We are all looking for news but in case this has not been posted lately, there has to be a proper time, place and reason for the dissemination of news. IMO, there are legal and tactical reasons for what we might call "delays", as opposed to Sage having junk assay results or a major problem going on. Bottom line here is that the whole argument that posters might have regarding Sage Gold centers around where the share price is presently AND the lack of solid good up-to-date news to keep us abreast of what is going on. We know that we can do nothing about either one of those issues. That of course can foster all kind of mental images and imaginations. Since no news and bad news are 'kin folk', we can, if we do not keep our attention fixed on the reasons for our involvement with the company, slowly get discouraged.
I don't know what is happening behind the scenes but I do believe that there is good news on the horizon. I do not know what "soon" means either. That does not bother me as it does others but what does concern me is, IF it is good news that is "nearby", will it have any sustaining impact on the share price in this so-called free market.
While it may not be unusual for a man or woman with a good reputation and background to come on board as a director of a small company, I do believe that the last two appointments to the BOD of Sage Gold has real meaning behind it. I have to wonder how many other junior companies the Senior lawyer for Kinross Gold, is involved with as a board member. Why didn't they simply have another high ranking executive from KG come to Sage. Why their top lawyer? This is venue is a chat room so to speak, so let me say that I believe that Mr. Gold's presense on the company' board means that a deal with Kinross and or other entities will be in the works down stream and that he is here to personally represent, oversee and protect Kinross Gold's interests. They do not have a controlling interest in Sage Gold but may I add, YET to that statement. He, and Kinross have a reputation to maintain and he would not be with Sage if there was a strong chance of failure. Needless to say the other new director comes with more connections that we could even wonder about. Many of them are with are foreign entities and persons. That to me is interesting also.
Best wishes,
Jerry
