I agree with your post fasteddie but the skeptic in me has trouble with "They also still want to go deeper."... They also 'wanted' to drill 3,000m at GE but that changed long ago without notice. Because of the GE experience I would not be surprised to see them stop at the shallower holes if results don't warrant even though they have indicated they 'want' to go deeper.
